LAB SERIES. You heard about that? It's a man's thing. So anyway, was told to sell this product to my school because it's related to our module: SALES MANAGEMENT.

So being, the look very "eng" (free) fella in class, somehow Victor - the faciliator, chose Alan, Mei Qi and I to be the representative. But because, only Alan & I turned up for the briefing, somehow i became the fella to help take notes and all.

I also had to sms and slowly scan through all the documents. I barely had any time to research on the products. Absolutely zero product knowledge, so we shall see...

Admist preparing for my test tomorrow, i quickly send out all the relevant information to the rest of the class. Mr Chicken Pie (a.k.a Alan) called and a few other replied:

Part 1:
Alan: Hey Rachel! I'm too lazy to check the school webmail. Can you tell me what is it about?
Me: UHmm... (not very sure about the product also) What do you want to know uh?
Alan: Eh.. Our Sales class need to go lab wan meh?
Me: WHAT?!! no lah! lab series!! is a brand.. we're not going to lab!!! HAHAHAHA!!!

Part 2:
Alan: So tmr, white shirt, black pants and leather shoes right?
Me: Eh, don't have to be super formal, just be presentable.
Alan: No worries. For tomorrow i will!

Oh man, he is really one kind soul who made my day. I'm counting on you chicken pie. :)

You know i've always got a clone. A smaller-build clone. We have many things in common except about her love relationship, it's all over the place. anyway, i'm gg diving with her! Wee~ dats pretty exciting!! So july4-7 i'm off. :)

Okay, so yeah, i am letting out the news of my yet another trip. Man, i shout broke!My parents refuse to sponser me anymore. I dare not look at the balance from my bank account. But i know if i don't go now, i will miss out a good deal, monsoon season is coming, Adriel and Johann will be very dissapointed. Yup, so there i go, yet again. Eh, i am feeling so happy but yet feeling so stress out.

I've got so many things up my sleeve!! Competition is knocking at the door, i've got 3 testes next week, my driving exam is coming up. Arhhh!!! Yoges kept asking me if i am alright.. Puzzled. i ask her why she asked me that? She told me i look so stress up! Wheres that bubbly me? Arhh.. I am just catching up, catching up with the pace of my FYP mates, the pace of my bible reading, the pace of competition, the pace of testes in school, daily grades.

Oh by the way, for the first time, i finally had a red mark on my leo. It says LATE! deduct 0.5. MAN!!!! I was complainning big time. Okay, let this be the first and the last time. I'm so going to be on time for the whole of this semester. Yes! Yes and Amen.

Lifesaving. a sport thats definately not for the faint hearted. It all started from taking a step to join the school's lifesaving team. Of course it was akward, first day donning on that swimsuit dipping in the water with strangers.

Without lifesaving, i'll not have gotten my lifesaving certs.(lifesaving 1,2,3 and BM)
Without lifesaving, i'll not have gotten a lifeguard Job at Sentosa & BB CSC
Without lifesaving, i'll not attend private pool functions.
Without lifesaving, i'll not met Zhi Wang, who later brought me into torpedo swimteam.
Without lifesaving, i'll not have been a swimming instructor.
Without lifesaving, i'll not have any part time job related to water.
Without lifesaving, i'll not have competitions to take part in.
Without lifesaving, i'll not have met such a wonderful bunch of friends who shares the same passion.
Without lifesaving, i'll not have this broad shoulders.
Without lifesaving, i'll not have touch the surf board over at Sentosa.
Without lifesaving, i'll not have realised i can swim well.
Without lifesaving, i'll not have gotten my Glitz award.
Without lifesaving, i'll not have taken part in NTU hands' event.
Without lifesaving, i'll be very much free-er.

Yup yup, and the list goes on and on...
Many a times, when things get heated up, events get mixed up, competitiveness comes in between great friends. Well, very much seen in the swimming industry. Now that Gary has given me the event that i wanted, i am giving it a second thought because i don't want competitive spirit to come in to destroy our friendship! ARGH.

Same thing goes for my other team-mates. It's all about competition!! Pri 1, you ask your friend.. how did you score for your spelling? You get 8/10, She gets 7/10. You smile so widely inside. Next time round, another spelling bee take places, you score 7/10 and now she scores 8/10. You were fuming on the inside and will work harder to beat her the next time. You see, the cycle goes on and on..

In secondary school, you compare who is more popular among the teachers and the boys.
In poly life, you compare to see if your boyfriend is better looking than your best friend's.
In working life, you compare to see who has a higher paying job, a better position.
When you buy a house, you compare to see who has a nicer house.
When you go shopping, you compare to see who has a nicer gucci or prada handbag.
Even when you grow old, you compare who has a nicer & a more comfortable rocking chair.

Stressful ah?dats life.

BANGKOK. BANGKOK. BANGKOK. PATAYAYAYA. Yes, now i can say i've been there, done it, took a picture, bought a sunglass.

Trip was good. Very relaxing, and yes i nearly bought the entire bangkok back. It was shopping and more shopping at all the "similiar looking shop". It was great because i'm there with yet another group of friends. This time round with the cell leader plus 2 helpers! WAH. It's my first ever trip with church friends! I never thought it will come to pass u know. Right Aileen?

Anyway, i was happily enjoying myself, all the shoppings,i've got to make it all worthwhile lah. my air ticket is so expensive u know?! Ok, we started with our journey to Pattaya. HAHA u know looking for a cab at the airport is so easy, everyone approaches you and quote you a price, just like the typical malaysia scene you experience.

Being the smart alec, i tried bargainning for the best price, this lady would not go lower than 1200baht, So we decided to walk off and head off to a better deal. We seem kinda lost when another lady wearing the same yellow polo tee walk towards us. We then found out that 1200 baht was like the cheapest deal. So, we followed her.. to our surprise they belong to the same company! So there we were, with the previous lady who walk us all the way trying to persuade us to go with her and there we were.. PAISEH.. back to the same company but with a different lady altogether. Wah i tell you, it's embarassing ok. lesson learnt: Never find lady wearing yellow polo tee when u're in BKK looking for a cab. :p

So our destination was Pattaya. finally my pattayayaya dream has come to pass! My journey there was uncountable hours of sleep. I was suffering from a lack of sleep when i was there because kenneth is a MORNING person. So every morning, he'll be the alarm clock. Trying all means to wake Lai Meng and I up. They even tried to give us morning call though we had a connecting door.. Wah, it was late nights but early mornings. I did parasailing for the first time in my life. In case you don't know what it is. I've attach the video. Hillarious, but very fun.We had 2 options, one to dip you into the not so clean sea-water, another to be just "lanning"("running"in the thai accent, in case u don't get the joke) from the deck and land back on the deck. Of course, being the water lover, i requested to be dip into the water. HAHAHA. it was fun, but it only took me barely 1 min b4 i touch down at the deck again!!!

Before it registered into me that Hey! I am up and flying, the next moment i know, i'm back at the deck but this time all wet. In that video, it was the locals asking kenneth to "LAN" it says.. LANNING LANNING. :p Pattaya was kinda boring and laid-back as we did lots of walking, lots of a-gogo bars, ah gua bars, seafood restaurants, sea-sports, massage parlors and many naughty farangs there. We were quite out of place actually. So, we head down to some massage. HAHA i wet their bed! I didn't pee but rather i was wet because of the parasailing. HAHAHA poor masseur got to clean up my mess.

Pineapple there was juicy. Orange Juice is super tasty. BBQ chicken was finger licking good. Squid was yummy. Japanese food there is awesome. Rambutans are big and juicy, yakult is bottled size. MAN!! the food there is fantastic!!

We head down BKK to shop later on. WOW. i tell you. MENG & I shopped like there's no tomorrow. Kenneth being the only guy was patient enough to follow us throughout the entire chatuchat. HAHAHA this time round, i stayed there the longest. 930am-5pm? Just pure shopping at all the similar looking shops. I applaud you, kenneth. HAHAHA, but he sort of gave up half-way and we deciding on a meeting place and time.

Bargainning is an art in Bangkok. So the more you practise the better you get. HAHAHA. Meng & I were trying all kinds of techniques to get the best deal. This man whom i bought a top from, told me.. WAH YOU GOOD YOU GOOD. fantastic. HAHAHAHA!!! Guilty of course, but hey, some of them simply offer prices that are way way crazy. A bag that cost 3000+ Baht can be found at another place that cost 500+ Baht? Thank Goodness i didnt buy. Meng bought her LV pouch for 300 when the person quoted a price of 900B. Kenneth bought his pouch for 500 and was quoted 1000+ initially.

Meng was my room-mate and so many times i tried to irritate the hell outta her. like jumping onto them while Qin and her were trying to sleep, switching on all the lights to pull her out of bed. Make her carry things, make her buy clothes so that i can get wholesale price. Opps. :p Lai meng, hahahaha you know i still love u! :) HAHAHAHA Oh ya, did i add, every night was DAI DEE!!! N we had an Overnight Prayer Meeting the last night to get back to a reality check. Charge up once again. okay, enough details to bore you off. Here's some pictures.
