Mandarin
Posted at Monday, December 29, 2008

I have never been too interested in the language: mandarin.

Until recently because i am travelling to a all chinese place. THE REPUBLIC OF CHINA
very inteeeeresting you say, i think so-so. Since my main purpose that drive me to this place is because it's so awwwww... COLD! and tt makes it the best place for skiing, on the real snow. awesome!

Well, I do not even know how to insert chinese character into my comp to search. I have problem reading a website that's filled with chinese character. I so want to scream out loud! Gosh, i thank god for my china mates who stays in China and it's easy peasy for them.

okay, my trip is to follow the tour for 10 days starting from Singapore -> Beiing -> harbin-> ChangChun-> Jilin-> Shen Yang -> Dalian -> Beijing... I have no idea wheres places like changchun, jilin all came from, very foreign, i feel so noobie.

During my trip from from beijing to singapore, it'll be free and easy for me. So, i had to look at the map and find a hotel tt's town, but according to my friend there's like 5 orchard roads in Beijing town itself? I am also supposed to look for a ski resort, well seems like everything is in chinese, and i might need alot of translation and time to figure things out. It's really one exciting trip.

You know when i ask around where i should go, all my china told me places like the museum, zoo, gu-gong, tian-an men square and they even ask me to go there watch them raise the china flag. For a moment i thought, WAH u patriotic chinese citizens. It's definately something something i won't recommend. At least for me, i'll tell them, come to orchard road and take your time to shop. :) okay, back to more chinese character, it's so exciting to do the planning all by myself. :)

Also, some not so good things happen! Well bad things do happen to good people:

"Have a blessed Christmas!" I ponder upon this sentence when Jacob wished me.
I begin to wonder, how to have a blessed christmas?
Well, at least it happened to me this year! Wow, not in terms of material needs, but wow. i am utterly amazed. For once, my bro decided to follow us to church. My mum came, my dad came and my entire family was there! i must say i am lost beyond words. You got no idea how happy i am, Truly a blessed one.

How nice it is to all go for service altogether. Well, i hope there'll be more to come. Amazing! Yes, i am beaming with JOY. We'll head down to China town to settle our trip. Yes, i'm leaving on a jet plane 27th Jan early in the morning 0730am. On the second day of Chinese New Year, that means my CNY will not be short change. HOHOHO! Merry X'Mas!
Posted at Sunday, December 21, 2008

It was a funny X'mas party i would say.

Of course it was fun! Of course it was engaging. Of course, there's games. Of course there's food. Of course there's santa clause. Of course there's prizes, Of course there's gift exchange. Of course there's friends. Of course there's songs. Of course there is laughter. Of course there's photo-taking!

Yeah, and the list goes on. I have attended my very first Christmas party in 2008. N there's many more to come, it's pretty scary! N especially it's a tradition to have a gift exchange and it's always nice to have a x'mas gift to the host since they invited you!The uncountable gatherings with different group of friends~! There's also your cell group friends, and your church friends, and your strikeforce mates, and your classmates and your friends, and your family members, and your colleagues, and your strikeforce mates.. and your swimming friends.. and your students.. the list goes on and on.
I can't help but to think OH NO! HOW?! This is crazy lah. It's a time of sharing and giving. It really is. Just imagine, 5 birthdays in a month is already killing your pockets, now you've one whole list of people to buy for. All the gatherings, all the gifts exchange! Gosh, perhaps my X'mas wish would be more students so the cash cow could cover up for the star! [okay, if you take marketing :) ]
Every year the ritual of gift exchange's taboo is......
(at least when we've all grown pass your youth days. Be a true adult! Give good and practical gifts)

#1. Photo-frames
#2. Teddy-bear(no hello kitty soft-toy!)
#3. Chocolates
#4. Handphone holder (LOL!)
#5. Cakes,Bread,Pastries
#6. Pens, pencils (at least the cheapo kind)
#7. Free samples given by facial companies
#8. Books tt you're intending to sell away to the karang guni
#9. Notebooks
#10. Cups(it's boring lah, how many cups do you need in your life-time?)
#11. No pearly bracelet

Terrible la!Hey come on, it just reflects how giving you are as a person, how generous you are. I also concluded that one should never mix your party with an adult group and a youth group. The presents that you will expect is just going to be scary. Imaging a 13 year old girl with a bottle of wine and a 50 year old man with a hello kitty soft toy/bracelet. Wah, the whole world come crashing down.

Thank God my gift landed on ruix and i got a solid gift. Woo, truly whatever you sow you shall reap. :)

Strikeforce Thanksgiving
Posted at Monday, December 15, 2008

to the guy whose ever-creative. For the LoooNG hours of motivational and inspirational talk.
He is awesome, taught us alot, taught us what it means to be serving.
Give it up to, TAN BOON.
HEE, baby kaira. She's so cute!
Everytime i tried teasing her, she will laugh and laugh and laugh.
so cute! Must be my darlie smile.. :)
When we all gathered for a time of games.
Where there is food, there will be people.
ANd the sharing session with Boon begins. :)

Yeap, Thanksgiving over at Newton place, Inifina condor? Nice place, very much like Boon's very own condor. It was really a time of catching up, and i realised we've all grown up.
Those days back in Braddel Westlake, the crazy hours of practise, the late night mosquito bites,
we're 4 years old now. At least for the majority. The good ol' days when we're all marching the streets and Justin coming up with cheorography for our Chingay parade.
Strikeforce has come thus far, it's really about engaging the marketplace. Talk about NDP, Chingay, performance after performance over in town areas, smack right in the middle of Orchard Road! I am pretty sure we've conqueored all parts of Singapore.
Strikeforce is truly awesome, a place you call home.
Together with all the creative ones, the loud ones. Very fun-loving.
If you think i am loud. Wait till you meet them. :)

The words that comes out from your mouth carries power & authority
Posted at Saturday, December 13, 2008

It has been brought to HER attention that SHE is slow to think, fast to speak.
Many a times, SHE just speak and care less of how others will feel or think. Totally arrogant and full of herself. At least it seems to be so.
SHE became very conscious and tried as much as possible to change or rathe to shut up.

If you have nothing to say, say nothing.

To be honest, SHE used to be worst in the past but when puberty hits, it all became better and things started to tone down. It was only recently, SHE absolutely do not know why, but SHE became very loud all of a sudden again. No, SHE is not after the attention, SHE just cannot control. SHE must be very "I". If you know what i am talking about.

I begin to wonder what is the reason why SHE became so loud and why it got worst? The kind of things that came out from her mouth? SHE knows that it's because SHE has been with friends who are as loud or rather louder than SHE is, because of the environment SHE became influence even in the way how her friends try to discourage people to allow their opponent to feel disturbed during a race. Truly iron sharpens iron. Well, not referring to anyone in particular but one thing for sure, when people are too goal oriented, they tend to say things that will bring down others and that is not soothing to the ears.

This mouth really kills, it detroys relationship, it causes people to turn nasty towards you, it cause people to shunt away from you and now, give HER some time, she'll tone down and she'll try her very best to speak positively in all situation, because it ain't funny at all. Now happy?

Cross-road
Posted at Monday, December 08, 2008

I am standing at the juction and there's so many paths i could venture into.
I am cluessless, i am unsure
I am helpless, i am lost

Until today, i am still tryin to explore if i am suitable in this field.
There's a series of jobs that i am looking into.
For now, after graduation, i am going to look into jobs that i could do for experience?
Very much to learn and not so much for the monetary aspect.
I had a talk with teacher, Kelvin Chua, bis student Suat, Tax collector Stephanie Tan, and i gain an insightful experience from them, different people have different kinds of jobs liking and very much so, they changed jobs to jobs just to find the job that best suit them. What your niche?

Still exploring, i might enter into relief teaching to have a feel.
I might want to venture into a marketing company probably like meta or tencube to learn?
Or.. mayb i might just follow torpedo and earn a good 4 figure salary if i am tt desperate for $.
Or should i try joinning those camp instructor team? Since i like all this fun?
Should i just enroll myself into the admin depeartment? HAH, go agency and fill up a form.
Or join an event's management team?
Learn how to be a tour-guide? So i can travel around! haha
Well, it's all still pending, i'm on a lookout.

any lobangs, do let me know.

There she goes...
Posted at Saturday, December 06, 2008

There she goes
There she goes again
Racing through my brain
And I just can't contain
This feeling that remains
There she blows
There she blows again
Pulsing through my veins
And I just can't contain
This feeling that remains
There she goes(There she goes again)
There she goes again(There she goes again)
Racing through my brain(There she goes)
And I just can't contain
This feeling that remains..

dang~ i woke up feeling terrible.
it has not been too good. But nvm, i shall be positive.
i really want to graduate fast. I was late on friday, first time.
participation was so-so. perhaps i expect too much from myself also,
the worse thing is.. BRAG IS CANCELLED! so pissed. very pissed. utterly pissed.
such a dissapointment.. I tell you i am speechless, beyond words.
Jin and i fought so much to bring our team together, i brought mine, she brought hers.
I even got scolded from Eneida because she didnt wanted to take part, but since i kept insisting,
n at the end of it, all this crap is all we got.

No lane ropes. lifeguard was clueless what was going on, my swimmers left .. sports club didn't know what to do. to carry on or not to? Tsk* It's a principle of punctuality.

Morning was crappier. I hate myself for not being C, i become so.. clumsy.
my driving skills ought to improve. i am very scared everytime i drive. i speak in tongues most of the time when i am driving. everything is just terrible.

insensitive shit. tsk*

perhaps i should move on, monday is love. :)

WHERE TO GO?
Posted at Wednesday, December 03, 2008

Where are you going this year-end? Everybody around seems to be travelling! Man, how can I miss the fun? Sis and bf is off to Ho Chi Minh Vietnam, Ken is off to Melbourne soon, Nich just came back from Taiwan, Bro is off to Bangkok and to HK for 6 months soon, grandpa is just back from Melbourne not long and off to genting with uncles soon! Dilys is off to KL soon, the wretch is off to Hokkaido soon! I so I need a vacation badly!

My family is planning to China and all I want this Christmas is really to HAR ER BIN to ski, I haven touch real snow yet!But my mummy seems unwilling since she believes that she would not be able to take the coldness else she’ll be complaining her limbs cannot take the weather! I am still in the midst of convincing them. They have plans to go to jiu zai gou, and it is boring!!!!! All the scenery and what’s not, fountain? Alright, after which we’ll head to Hong kong that’s for sure and Hong Kong is in the winter state! So that means no summer sales, nothing of such. I might just head to Esprit warehouse and buy the whole esprit back once again.

Asia is boring, I don’t want to visit Bangkok anytime soon, as much as the tom yam or mango rice tastes so good, I am not going to go there to be stuck in the airport. There’s so much crisis happening in the country. Mumbai, India’s very own capital city being terrorized, and I read the newspaper, this guy from Israel whose there for a holiday trip died! How about Shen Zhen and Taiwan? They might suddenly have an earthquake? Well, a certain degree of danger everywhere you go.

Buy insurance k? AIA is desperate to get people to buy and renew their insurance. Haha, help boost their sales, perhaps they might recover from their crisis now? Okay, anyway, so I was planning for a trip to Taiwan with my classmate, a graduation trip there! Wee, it’s going to be fun okay, although amongst us are many blur ones.. hurr! None the less, I hope it comes to pass. Check out the price and the lodging already, everything seems exciting and good to go once we’ve the airplane money!

Amazing! I’m all good to launch out my net to look for a job now! So I can mai dong xi, chi dong xi! YAY!!! Graduating soon! 11 more school days, 4 more testes, 1 FYP presentation and I am good to go!
